Zachary Hall Killed in Orange Park Pedestrian Accident on Blanding Boulevard at Blairmore Boulevard
Orange Park, Florida (January 14, 2018) – 28-year-old Zachary Hall died when he was hit by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Orange Park, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at around 4:15 a.m. Saturday, January 13 on Blanding Boulevard at Blairmore Boulevard.
According to FHP, Hall was going diagonally across Blanding when he was hit by a Ford Escape driven by Jeffrey Virbickis, 58, of Middleburg.
Hall was pronounced dead at the scene.
Virbickis was not injured in the accident. He stopped and was cooperative with the officers.
All northbound lanes were blocked until about 7:45 a.m. The authorities redirected traffic onto Kingsley Avenue.
The medical examiner is conducting an autopsy to determine if Hall was impaired, officers said.
