Woman Hospitalized in West Palm Beach Pedestrian Crash at Greenwood Avenue and 45th Street
West Palm Beach, Florida (January 24, 2018) – A woman was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle on Tuesday evening in West Palm Beach, according to a local news source.
The crash transpired at about 7:07 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and 45th Street, next to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Police said the woman was crossing 45th when she was struck by an eastbound car.
She was rushed to a hospital for treatment of her injuries. She was listed in critical condition.
The driver involved fled the scene without stopping to help the woman. Details about the suspect vehicle were not disclosed because of conflicting information, officials said.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
