William Mcintosh Injured in Pedestrian Crash on U.S. Highway 1 in Nassau County
Nassau County, Florida (February 4, 2018) – A man was hospitalized after a crash between a car and a pedestrian early Sunday morning in Nassau County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 12:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 1.
The victim, identified as William Mcintosh, 33, was walking in the inside travel lane of southbound U.S. 1 when he was struck by a car, troopers said.
Mcintosh was transported to UF Health, where he was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Mcintosh was at the scene of the crash when investigators arrived. The driver was not injured.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
