Highway 29 Rollover Collision Seriously Injures Teen
Molino, FL (September 9, 2017) – A two-vehicle accident on Highway 29 Friday afternoon seriously injured a teenage driver.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a Hyundai Sonata, driven by a 16-year-old female driver, was involved in a collision with a Chevrolet Silverado on September 8.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Sonata rolled over into the median, near Barrineau Park Road.
The teenage driver was transported to a Pensacola hospital by Escambia County EMS as a “trauma alert.”
Initial findings show that the driver was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.
First responders were from the Molino and Cantonment stations of Escambia Fire Rescue and the FHP.
The FHP is continuing its investigation into the crash.
