Fort Myers Man Samuel Brown Killed in ATV Rear-End Crash on Cemetery Road in Buckingham
Buckingham, Florida (December 24, 2017) – A man riding an ATV was on Sunday morning struck and killed by a vehicle on Cemetery Road in Buckingham, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident took place shortly after midnight on Cemetery Road near the intersection of Skates Circle.
18-year-old Samuel Tyler Brown of Fort Myers was riding a Yamaha ATV eastbound on Cemetery Road when he was rear-ended by a 1997 Mustang being driven by Robert E. Adams III, 46, of Fort Myers, troopers said.
The ATV’S lights were not on at the time of the crash and Brown had no reflective gear or helmet on, according to FHP.
Brown was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Adams was not injured in the crash.
FHP said charges are pending.
