Ronald Lutrario Deadly East Central Boulevard Motorcycle Accident in Cape Canaveral
Cape Canaveral, Florida (December 21, 2017) – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 33-year-old man perished in a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon in Cape Canaveral.
The FHP identified the victim as Ronald Lutrario, of Cocoa Beach.
The fatal incident took place just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 19 on East Central Boulevard.
Troopers stated that an eastbound 2017 Honda driven by Lutrario was moving above the speed limit. Meanwhile, 67-year-old Deputy Carmine Siniscal was driving his patrol car west on the road when he tried turning left onto Circle Drive and drove into the path of the motorcyclist. The right side of the deputy’s 2010 Dodge Charger was hit by the front of the Honda.
Lutrario was taken to Cape Canaveral Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Siniscal was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not injured.
Lutrario was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The collision remains under an investigation, and an alcohol blood test is pending.
