Motorcyclist Killed in West Miami-Dade Multi-Vehicle Crash During Race on 8th Street
Miami-Dade, Florida (December 17, 2017) – A motorcyclist was on Saturday afternoon killed and another injured when a race in West Miami-Dade led to a multi-vehicle collision, according to FHP.
The crash happened at around 1:45 p.m. on Southwest 8th Street, near Southwest 122nd Avenue.
FHP said two racers were traveling eastbound on Southwest 8th Street when they collided and then crashed into two cars.
The impact of the crash ejected the cyclists from their motorcycles.
One rider was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The second rider was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital after his arm was ripped from his body.
