SR 19 and SR 100 Two-Vehicle Crash Kills 1 and Seriously Injures Another
Putnam County, FL (September 4, 2017) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Road 19 and State Road 100 early Sunday morning has killed a female passenger and seriously injured the driver of the vehicle she was in.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to a crash that was reported around 4:47 a.m. September 3 in Putnam County.
According to the troopers, the crash involved two vehicles driven by 20-year-old Tyler David Music, of Lady Lake, and 41-year-old Christopher Perrie, of Palatka. The report showed that Music drove his vehicle east on State Road 100 while Perrie drove his vehicle south on State Road 19. Both vehicles crashed at the intersection.
42-year-old Michelle Perrie, of Palatka, was killed in the incident. She was a passenger in Perrie’s vehicle. At the time of the crash, she was not wearing a seat belt.
Christopher Perrie sustained serious injuries. He was transported to UF Health Shands Hospital for treatment.
Music and his passenger, 19-year-old Dakota Degatina, of Ocklawaha, sustained minor injuries. Music was brought to Putnam County Medical Center while Degatina was treated by paramedics.
No charges have been filed.
An investigation is ongoing by state troopers.
