Florida Highway Patrol identified a 37-year-old man who was killed in a crosswalk in Orange County in the early morning of Sunday.
The man was identified as Michael Johnson from Cocoa. Johnson was attempting to cross Orange Blossom Trial from the west side to the east side near Jordan Avenue.
At around 2 A.M. Sunday, he walked onto the path of a Jeep Cherokee that was heading northbound.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Johnson did not use the crosswalk and was not an at intersection.
He was then rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured at all.
The crash remains under investigation.
