Two Naples Men Injured after Two Vehicles Collide on Immokalee Road
Naples, Florida (November 19, 2017) – Two men were injured in a two-vehicle wreck that happened in Naples early Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash took place just after 5 a.m. Saturday, November 18 on Immokalee Road near the I-75 southbound entrance ramp.
According to troopers, a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle rider, Lazaro Yumar, 45 of Naples was traveling west on Immokalee Road when he attempted to make a left turn onto the Interstate 75 entrance ramp and the motorcycle collided with an eastbound 2007 Jeep driven by Christian Ramon, 24 of Naples.
Troopers said Yumar sustained serious injuries and was taken to Naples Community Hospital. Ramon suffered minor injuries.
Police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
