73-Year-Old Man Walking Dog Fatally Hit by Truck on Prestbury Drive in Orlando
Orlando, Florida (December 21, 2017) – A 73-year-old man was on Wednesday struck and killed while walking his dog on Prestbury Drive in Orlando, according to FHP.
James Lear, 73, died in the accident that occurred on Prestbury Drive near Kelsall Drive on Wednesday, December 20.
Troopers said Walner Philippe, 42, was reversing in a garbage truck when it struck the victim, who was walking his dog along Prestbury Drive.
Lear was rushed to a hospital with major injuries and was later pronounced dead. His dog was also taken to a veterinarian clinic with injuries.
Troopers said charges are pending an investigation going on.
