Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 Kills James Addison
Macclenny, FL (October 17, 2017) – A man was killed after his vehicle crashed into another vehicle early Tuesday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision between a pickup truck and a semi-truck occurred around 6:44 a.m. October 17 on Interstate 10 near State Road 228.
25-year-old James Addison drove his Nissan Frontier eastbound on the road when it veered and went to the shoulder for unknown reasons. The vehicle overcorrected and spun around before it rear-ended the bumper of a semi-truck stopped in traffic.
The collision killed Addison at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the semi was uninjured.
Lanes reopened by 11 a.m.
