Man and 3 Children Injured in Jacksonville 2-Vehicle Crash on San Jose Boulevard
Jacksonville, Florida (December 30, 2017) – An adult and three children were injured late Friday night in a crash involving two vehicles in Mandarin, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported.
The accident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, December 29, on San Jose Boulevard at Ricky Road.
Deputies said a vehicle traveling southbound on San Jose Boulevard crashed into another southbound vehicle.
The impact caused one vehicle to drift off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole.
The other vehicle struck a propane tank and a pole.
An adult and three children were riding in the first vehicle. They were rushed to a hospital with the adult suffering life-threatening injuries and the children suffering serious injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle left the scene before the police arrived.
The crash is under investigation.
