Motorcycle-Car Crash on Holly Drive Injures Fiifi Buckman Sam
Tampa, FL (October 20, 2017) – A passenger on board a motorcycle was sent to the hospital in critical condition after the vehicle he was in crashed into a car Thursday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported the collision to have occurred around 10:39 p.m. October 19 on the Holly Drive of University of South Florida Tampa campus.
The report showed that 18-year-old Tresa Maria John, of Tampa, drove her 2007 Toyota Corolla made a left turn at the intersection of Holly Drive and Maple Drive. This sent the eastbound Toyota into the direction of a westbound 2015 Yamaha YFZR3 ridden by 22-year-old Etim Nissan Etim-Inyang, of Tampa, and his passenger, 21-year-old Fiifi Buckman Sam.
The crash threw both Sam and Etim-Inyang from the motorcycle and onto the road.
At the time of the crash, Sam was not wearing a helmet. He sustained critical injuries and was transported to Tampa General Hospital.
Etim-Inyang sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
John was uninjured.
