Donna White Killed and Tyler Coker Hospitalized in Taylor County Car Collision on Beach Road
Taylor County, Florida (December 14, 2017) – A woman died, and a teen was injured in a 2-vehicle collision that occurred today morning in Taylor County, a local news source reported.
The victims have been identified as 48-year-old Donna White, who died in the accident, and 17-year-old Tyler Coker who was seriously injured.
The crash took place at about 7 a.m. Thursday, December 14 on southbound Beach Road near Gibson Road.
The Florida Highway Patrol, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, and the Taylor County Fire responded to the scene to help the victims.
According to the article, White was heading south on Beach Road when for unknown reasons, she crossed over the center line and into the northbound lane. Her vehicle collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck driven northbound by Coker.
White died in the collision while Coker was transported to Shands Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Police said White was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
