Motorcyclist Corey Strigler Killed in Collision with Car on I-95 in St. Johns County
St. Johns County, Florida (November 30, 2017) – A motorcyclist died early Thursday morning after colliding with a car on Interstate 95 in St. Johns County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at around 2:25 a.m. on I-95 near International Golf Parkway.
Troopers said Corey Strigler, 42, was driving a motorcycle northbound on the freeway when he crashed into the back of a Buick Century. The impact ejected Strigler from the motorcycle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three people who were traveling in the Buick were not injured and were at the scene when investigators examined the crash.
The incident remained under investigation.
