Woman Ejected from Car After Two-Vehicle Crash on County Road 346A Dead
Levy County, FL (September 9, 2017) – A two-vehicle collision was reported on County Road 346A Friday evening, which claimed the life of one of the drivers.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:41 p.m. September 8 in Levy County.
The report showed that 38-year-old Amanda M. Farnsworth, of Tallahassee, drove her 2000 Mercedes C300 westbound on the road. At the intersection of County Road 346A and County Road 341, Farnsworth failed to follow the stop sign and crashed into the vehicle driven by 21-year-old Michael Rogers, of Chiefland.
The crash ejected Farnsworth from her vehicle. Meanwhile, Rogers sustained serious injuries. They were both brought to Shands UF in critical condition, along with a passenger inside Rogers’ vehicle who sustained minor injuries.
Farnsworth later died in the hospital.
