Three Durant High School Students Injured in Brandon Pedestrian Crash on Miller Road
Tampa, Florida (January 26, 2018) – Three Durant High School students were transported to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Friday morning in Brandon, according to a police report.
The incident occurred on Miller Road and Bonterra Boulevard, just south of State Road 60 in the early hours of Friday.
Deputies said the students were waiting for their bus when they were struck by an SUV.
The victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies said the driver of the SUV is also a Durant High School student and remained at the scene. The driver was unhurt.
Miller Road was closed in both directions as deputies conducted an investigation.
