23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Orange County Collision with Car on Highway 50
Orange County, Florida (November 27, 2017) – A Winter Haven motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a car on State Road 50 in Orange County on Sunday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 6:10 p.m. on Sunday, November 26 at the intersection of SR 50 and Amber Road.
FHP said a 2013 Hyundai, driven by 33-year-old Jason Small, was traveling westbound on SR 50 when it turned left onto Amber Road and was struck on the right side by a motorcycle traveling eastbound.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old Winter Haven man, died at the scene of the crash.
Police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
