Walter Anderson Injured in Pensacola Crash on U.S Highway 29

Pensacola, Florida (December 26, 2017) – One man was injured after being struck by a car in Pensacola Monday midnight, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened around 12:00 a.m. Monday, December 25, on U.S. Highway 29 at West Airport Road.
According to FHP report, Walter Sinclair Anderson, 48, was hit by a 2015 Nissan Altima, driven by William Jodorris Pugh, as he was standing in the roadway.
Pugh attempted to swerve when he saw Anderson but he still ended up hitting him. No one was injured in Pugh’s car, FHP said.
As per the report, the victim was dressed in all black and held a black bicycle. He suffered a critical head injury and was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital and charged by FHP with improper standing in the roadway.
Anderson’s residence in the Pensacola area remains unknown. Anyone with any information regarding the victim is asked to contact FHP at 850-484-5000.
