A man from Citra, FL has died on Monday night after he was hit by two vehicles in an intersection at Alachua County.
Florida Highway Patrol identified the man as Vandall A. Griffin, 65 of Citra, FL.
Officials say that Griffin was walking along U.S. 301 close to the SE 203rd Street intersection, north of the community of Island Grove
First, Griffin was hit by a GMC Acadia whom which James Ingram, 56, from Palm City, was driving and the second time, he was hit by a Chrysler Town & Country which was driven by Brian Capprotti from Orange Park, FL.
Officials stated that Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Capprotti and Ingram were left uninjured.
Highway Patrols says that alcohol was not considered a fact and are still investigating the cause of the crash.
