Desoto County Crash at First and Jefferson Streets Injures Two
Desoto County, Florida (January 9, 2018) – Two people were injured in a hit-and-run crash in Desoto County Sunday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at around 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, at First Street and Jefferson Street in Arcadia.
According to FHP, a vehicle suspected to be a white Sedan struck two males who were walking on the southbound lane shoulder and fled southbound on SE First Avenue.
As per the report, at least one of the victims was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital. Their ages and identities were not immediately known.
Police were yet to know whether alcohol was a factor.
No further details regarding the crash were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
