Mother and Two Sons Injured in Tampa Pedestrian Accident at Dale Mabry Highway and Wyoming Ave
Tampa, Florida (November 23, 2017) – According to the Tampa Police Department, a mother and her two young children were injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Tampa.
The incident took place at precisely 5:52 p.m. Wednesday, November 22 at the intersection of Dale Mabry Highway and Wyoming Avenue.
Police officers stated that the mother and her 5 and 2-year-old sons were holding hands while crossing the intersection when they were hit by a vehicle. They were not in a crosswalk at the time of the incident.
The three victims were taken to a hospital for treatment. The mother was in critical condition while the two children had non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
