Orlando Boy Sebastian Duque Hit and Killed on International Drive in Orange County
Orange County, Florida (December 27, 2017) – A boy, 12, was Killed in a hit-and-run crash in Orange County Tuesday night, Florida Highway Patrol Said.
The crash took place around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, on International Drive near Westwood Lake Boulevard.
According to FHP, the boy was trying to cross the International Drive on his bike when he was struck by silver Ford Focus.
Officials said after causing the crash the Focus Driver got of his car and fled the scene on foot.
Duque was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities termed the wreck as the 11th deadliest hit-and-run in Orange County and the 100th for Florida.
The crash remains under investigation.
