Pinellas Park Man Killed in Bicycle Crash on U.S Highway 19 North
Pinellas Park, Florida (January 24, 2018) – A 79-year-old bicyclist was killed in a collision involving a car on Tuesday night in Pinellas Park, according to police.
The incident took place at around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, in the 8000 block of U.S 19 North.
Police said Sean J. Bollar, 79, of Pinellas Park, was pushing his bicycle across the highway from east to west when he was struck by a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, driven northbound by Ricky Graham, 50, of Clearwater, who was on a green light.
Bollar died at the scene of the crash.
Graham was at the scene when police arrived and reportedly cooperated with the investigation.
Police said no charges were expected.
