Child and Woman Hurt in Rockledge Bicycle Accident on Levitt Parkway at Fiske Boulevard
Rockledge, Florida (November 3, 2017) – A child was airlifted in an accident that also left a woman with minor injuries Friday afternoon at an intersection in Rockledge, a local news source article reported.
The accident occurred at 3:55 p.m. Friday, November 3 on Levitt Parkway at Fiske Boulevard.
Reportedly, a woman was riding her bicycle at the intersection while she towed her child in a wheeled carrier when she was struck by a car for unknown reasons.
The child was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando for treatment. The woman sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized. Her other child who was riding another bicycle at the scene was not struck.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
