South Ferdon Boulevard Crash Kills Wife and Critically Injures Husband
Crestview, FL (September 5, 2017) – A three-vehicle collision on South Ferdon Boulevard and Aplin Road Sunday night has killed a woman from Laurel Hill and has sent her husband to the hospital for critical injuries.
The Crestview Police Department reported that on September 3, 19-year-old Timothy J. Commee of Crestview, made a right turn on red to Aplin Road from South Ferdon Boulevard on his 2004 Dodge Pickup. He immediately crashed into 31-year-old Michael L. Rose, of Enterprise, Alabama, and 50-year-old Cranston Tickle and his passenger, 49-year-old Robin Tickle, both from Laurel Hill.
The impact threw the three motorcyclists from their vehicles.
Witnesses who saw the collision reported that Mr. and Mrs. Tickle were both not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
The couple was transported to the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, where the woman later died at the hospital’s Trauma Center. Mr. Tickle is currently in critical condition.
Rose sustained a broken arm and was brought to the North Okaloosa Medical Center for treatment.
Commee was uninjured in the collision.
