Police Officer among 2 Injured in Riviera Beach Patrol Car Crash on U.S. 1
Riviera Beach, Florida (February 18, 2018) – A Riviera Beach Police officer was among two people injured when a patrol car was involved in a crash with another vehicle on Saturday night, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, February 17, at the intersection of U.S. 1 and West Blue Heron Boulevard.
There were no details immediately provided on how the collision occurred.
The Riviera Beach Police Department said the officer was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The other driver was treated for minor injuries at the hospital.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
