2 Drivers Killed and 1 Injured in Palm Beach Gardens Wrong Way Collision
Palm Beach Gardens, FL (September 5, 2017) – Two people were killed in a wrong way crash on Beeline Highway in Palm Beach Gardens early Tuesday morning.
According to the police, 39-year-old Richard G. Bryan, of Fort Pierce, drove his 2015 Volkswagen Passat in the oncoming lanes of the road, which led him to crash head-on with a 2006 Toyota Prius driven by 25-year-old Nicole A. Pope, of Gainesville.
The collision took place around 12:10 a.m. September 5 near Northlake Boulevard.
Both Bryan and Pope were killed in the collision.
A third person, 30-year-old Lance C. McCauley, was said to be transported to a hospital for injuries and released shortly.
The crash closed the northbound lanes on the highway until the rush-hour traffic in the morning.
