New Port Richey Randy Pearson Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on State Road 54

New Port Richey, Florida (November 21, 2017) – A hit-and-run driver left a 58-year-old man seriously injured in New Port Richey Sunday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, Randy Pearson, 58, of New Port Richey was struck by a car on State Road 54, west of Pensdale Drive at about 7:40 p.m. on Sunday, November 19.
Pearson was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by a car that left the scene after the incident.
Troopers said Pearson suffered serious injuries and was transported to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
The Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the crash and are looking for the driver responsible.
