Man Hospitalized after Tallahassee Bus-Pedestrian Crash on Mission Road
Tallahassee, Florida (February 3, 2018) – A pedestrian was on Friday morning rushed to a hospital after being struck by a Leon County school bus in Tallahassee, according to police.
The crash happened near the intersection of Mission Road and Gearhart Road at around 8:38 a.m. Friday, February 2.
It’s unclear what the pedestrian was doing at the roadway when he was struck.
Police said the victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Details on the victim’s identity were not released.
Approximately 30 students were on board the school bus which was headed to Griffin Middle School. No one riding in the bus was hurt.
The Tallahassee Police Department is conducting an investigation to establish the root cause of the accident.
