Nicole Lott Killed After Jet Ski Crashes into Dock on Lake Whitney in Orange County
Orange County, Florida (February 13, 2018) – A 15-year-old boy who died Sunday afternoon when the jet ski he was riding in crashed into a boat dock in Windermere, Orange County has been identified, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The victim was Nicole Lott.
The incident transpired at an unspecified time Sunday, February 11, on Lake Whitney.
As per the authorities, a 16-year-old boy was riding on the jet ski with Lott when the engine turned off and Lost steering power. The boy jumped into the water and the jet ski crashed into the dock with Lott still on it.
Lott was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.
Authorities are still carrying out an investigation into the incident.
