LaBelle Woman Killed in Hendry County Pedestrian Crash on SR 80
Hendry County, Florida (January 7, 2018) – A 25-year-old woman was struck and killed on Saturday night by a hit-and-run driver in Hendry County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on Saturday, January 6 on State Road 80.
FHP said Nicole Black, 25, of LaBelle was attempting to cross State Road 80 when she was struck by a westbound vehicle that failed to stop after the crash.
Black was killed in the crash.
FHP is investigating the accident and is looking into a 2010 Cadillac Escalade SUV that is suspected to be the vehicle responsible.
