Orlando Man Killed in Osceola Two-Vehicle Crash on Orange Blossom Trail
Osceola, Florida (December 23, 2017) – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was Killed in a crash in Osceola Thursday night.
The crash took place took place at about 10:54 Thursday, December 21, on Orange Blossom Trail.
FHP said 50-year-old Brenda Zayas of Kissimmee was driving a 2009 Hyundai Sonata South on Orange Blossom Trail when she made a left turn to proceed east on Carroll Street.
Zayas drove directly into the path of 39-year-old Motorcyclist who was driving north on the Trail.
As per the FHP report, the motorcycle struck the right side of the Hyundai Sonata. The motorcyclist, whose name was not immediately released waiting for notification of next of kin, was transported to Florida Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Zayas sustained minor injuries.
The wreck remains under investigation.
