One Injured in Titusville Motorcycle Crash with Car at Indian River Avenue and A. Max Brewer Parkway
Titusville, Florida (December 19, 2017) – According to Titusville Fire Department, a motorcyclist was transported to a nearby trauma center after being involved in a crash with a vehicle on A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway Monday afternoon.
The collision took place on Monday, December 18, 2017, at Indian River Avenue and A. Max Brewer Parkway.
According to authorities, William Walls, 88, was driving a 20013 Buick Lacrosse north on Indian River Avenue when he tried to enter into the median on A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway. Wells drove eastbound over two east lanes of the parkway, hitting the unidentified male motorcyclist traveling eastbound.
The police said Wells was at fault for invading the motorcyclist’s right of way.
As per the report, the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and he sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Wells was not injured.
The crash caused the closure of A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway and Indian River Avenue to traffic Monday afternoon as the Titusville Police Department carried out the investigation on the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
