Man Killed in St. Petersburg Moped Crash with Car on MLK Street
St. Petersburg, Florida (February 2, 2018) – One person was killed when a car struck a moped early Friday morning in St. Petersburg, according to a report by the authorities.
The crash happened at around 4:30 a.m. on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North, just north of 94th Avenue North.
It is unclear how the moped and the car collided.
Police said the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
