Misael Agustin Killed in Deadly Suburban West Palm Beach Traffic Collision
Suburban West Palm Beach, Florida (January 12, 2018) – A man was killed in a two-car crash Friday afternoon in Suburban West Palm Beach, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was identified by the FHP as 23-year-old Misael Agustin.
The fatal incident occurred at around 12:36 p.m. Friday, January 5 at the intersection of Lakeside Green Drive and Shenandoah Drive.
Troopers stated that Agustin was headed southbound on N. Military Trail at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light and entered the intersection. His vehicle then crashed into the side of a 2012 Hyundai driven by Eleanor Vernon, 26. The two vehicles then came to a rest off the southwest corner of the intersection.
Agustin died at the scene while Vernon sustained minor wounds.
Agustin was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The fatal incident remains under an investigation by the authorities.
