Man Killed in Williston Car Crash at County Road 326 and State Road 121
Williston, Florida (January 15, 2018) – A Williston man was killed in a deadly multi-vehicle crash on Sunday evening, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at the intersection of County Road 326 and State Road 121 on Sunday, January 14.
Troopers said Matthew Chance Carlisle, 33, of Williston, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on County Road 326 when the pickup was struck on its left front by a 2013 Jeep Cherokee, which had been traveling southbound on State Road 121.
After the crash, Carlisle stepped out of his vehicle and was struck by a 2012 Freightliner semi-truck that had been traveling northbound on State Road 121.
Carlisle was rushed to Williston Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
There were no reports of other injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
