Marysa Milinichik Seriously Injured After Bicycle-Vehicle Collision on US-98 and Woodville Highway
Wakulla County, FL (October 30, 2017) – A collision between a bicycle and a vehicle Monday morning has sent one to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported the incident to have occurred around 7:29 a.m. October 30 on US-98 and Woodville Highway.
The report showed that Jamie Rogers, 33, was attempting to turn his Ford Focus left into an Express Lane parking lot when he went into the path of an eastbound bicyclist on the bike path. Troopers said the bicyclist hit the right side of the Focus, which caused him to be thrown from the bike.
Marysa Milinichik, 27, of Crawfordville, was identified as the bicyclist taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Rogers was not injured in the crash.
An investigation is being conducted with possible pending charges.
