Marysa Milinichik Seriously Hurt in Wakulla Bicycle Accident on US-98 and Woodville Highway
Wakulla County, Florida (November 24, 2017) – The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a bicyclist suffered serious injuries after colliding with a vehicle Monday morning in Wakulla County.
The cyclist was identified by the FHP as 27-year-old Marysa Milinichik, of Crawfordville.
As per the report log, a Ford Focus headed westbound on US-98 was beginning to make a left turn into the parking lot of the Express Lane at 7223 Coastal Highway when it went directly into the path of Marysa who was cycling eastbound in the bike path. Marysa hit the right side of the Ford and was thrown from the bike.
Marysa was shuttled to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the Ford driver was uninjured in the incident.
FHP said that charges are pending.
We wish a quick recovery to Marysa Milinichik. It is disheartening when a reckless party subjects an innocent person to suffering.
