Authorities reported that a pedestrian was trying to cross the Southbound lanes of Semoran Boulevard near the Orlando International Airport when he was killed.
In a statement released by Orlando Police Department Lt. Jerry Goglas, the man was trying to cross the street near the Hazeltine National Drive at approximately 2:40 Thursday morning. A white sedan struck him why the sedan was traveling north.
The pedestrian was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased shortly after.
The name of the victim has not yet been released pending on the notification of family members.
Lt. Goglas stated that the driver cooperatively remained at the scene.
