Man Hospitalized after Orange Blossom Trail Pedestrian crash in Orlando
Orlando, Florida (January 31, 2018) – A pedestrian was injured when he was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Orlando, according to authorities.
The accident took place on Orange Blossom Trail, south of Lee Road at around 7:12 p.m. Tuesday, January 30.
Police said a car traveling northbound on Orange Blossom Trail struck the victim, who was attempting to cross the road.
The pedestrian was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical as a trauma alert patient.
The driver of the car was not injured and was at the scene when police arrived.
No charges have been filed yet.
The crash caused a closure of Orange Blossom Trail northbound for approximately three hours as police examined and cleared the scene.
