Man Critically Injured in Brooksville Crash with School Bus on Cortez Boulevard
Brooksville, Florida (January 13, 2018) – A man suffered critical injuries after being involved in a crash with a Hernando County school bus on Friday morning in Brooksville, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at the intersection of Mckethan Road and Cortez Boulevard on Friday, January 12.
Troopers said a 53-year-old man was driving westbound on Cortez Boulevard when he turned left at the intersection of Mckethan Road and his car was struck on its passenger side by a bus traveling eastbound on Cortez Boulevard.
The man sustained critical injuries and Bayonet Point.
20 Springstead High School students were on board the bus at the time of the crash. One of them was treated for minor injuries.
Troopers said charges were expected.
