Police Officer among Injured in Fort Lauderdale Crash near West Broward Blvd and NW 24th Ave
Fort Lauderdale, Florida (January 15, 20108) – At least two people were injured in a crash involving a Lauderhill Police vehicle transporting a prisoner on Sunday night in Fort Lauderdale.
Authorities said the crash happened near West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 24th Avenue on Sunday, January 14.
Police said a Lauderhill cruiser was transporting a prisoner when it collided with an SUV.
The prisoner and a police officer were transported by paramedics to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It’s unclear whether the occupants of the SUV were also injured.
