Lehigh Acres Driver Lawrence Hursell Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Fowler Street in Fort Myers
Fort Myers, Florida (December 24, 2017) – A Lehigh Acres man sustained critical injuries in a vehicle collision in Fort Myers on Saturday morning, according to FHP.
The crash happened at around 6:21 a.m. Saturday, December 23 at Fowler Street and North Airport Road.
Troopers said the driver of a 2000 Honda Accord, 36-year-old Lawrence Philip Hursell of Lehigh Acres, was traveling northbound on Fowler Street when the car rotated across the northbound lanes and ended up in the southbound lanes.
Hursell’s car entered into the path of a 2003 Toyota Camry, driven by 27-year-old Dorine Murph of Lehigh Acres, and the vehicles collided.
Hursell sustained critical injuries and was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.
Murph was taken to Gulf Coast Hospital with minor injuries.
FHP said charges are pending.
