Crestview, FL – A vehicle accident taking place Sunday afternoon leaves a 6-month old girl dead in Okaloosa County.
Brian Hughes, a spokesman for Crestview Police Department, stated that the 6-month old girl succumbed to her injuries this morning (June 6th). The victim has been identified as Kali Larkin.
The crash took place Sunday afternoon at around 12:30 p.m. where she was immediately flown to the Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
The police reported that at the time of the crash, her father, Jadarius Larkin was traveling south on State Road 85 when at the intersection, and SUV turned right in front of their vehicle. The driver of the SUV, Bettye Barber, 77, and two other passengers were injured but were all released on Tuesday.
The mother, Desjane, and Jadarius were treated and released from the hospital.
The police found Kali to have been properly restrained in her car seat.
The crash is currently under investigation.
