Julius Martinez-Sanchez Fatally Struck by Vehicle on I-275

Tampa, Florida (November 12, 2017) – The Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a Sunday morning fatal car-pedestrian crash that left a 19-year-old dead on Interstate 275.
The crash was reported just after 2 a.m. in the northbound I-275 near MLK Boulevard, according to troopers.
Julius Martinez-Sanchez, 19, was struck and killed by an Audi sedan as he was either standing or crossing I-275.
The driver of the sedan then drove off to a nearby gas station where the driver alighted and took off on foot. The passengers in the vehicle, Nathanael Huitt, 26, and Austin Schulz, 27, contacted the authorities. They both claimed that they didn’t know the driver police said.
