Saint James City, FL – The investigation of a Cape Coral man dying after falling off a sailboat on Friday is currently underway.
The victim, 69-year old Joseph Zebrook, and three other passengers were sailing at around 1:30 p.m. southwest in the Intracoastal Waterway between Sanibel Island and Saint James City, reported the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s division of law enforcement.
Another individual and Zebrook moved to changed seats when Zebrook fell overboard the 40-foot Hunter Marine Corp sailboat, stated reports.
Zebrook was recovered from the water and CPR was performed.
The investigation of the death is currently being conducted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation.
