Niceville man Joseph Newborn Hospitalized after being struck by Car on US 98
Fort Walton, Florida (November 12, 2017) – An 18-year-old Niceville man was struck and seriously injured by a car early Saturday morning in Fort Walton.
Joseph newborn was involved in an accident at about 12:15 a.m. on U.S. 98, east of Pullum Street on Saturday, November 11, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Newborn was hit by a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon driven eastbound on the highway by Bilal Amin, 30, of Nevarre as he was attempting to cross the road.
He was flown to Fort Walton Medical Center with serious injuries, the troopers said.
No charges have been filed yet.
