Jose Antonio Ambrocio Hit and Killed by SUV at West Main Street and Second Street South
Immokalee, California (January 30, 2018) – A 63-year-old Immokalee man died when he was struck by an SUV early Monday morning at an intersection in Immokalee, a local news source reported.
Jose Antonio Ambrocio was killed in an accident that happened at around 5 a.m. Monday, January 29 at the intersection of West Main Street and Second Street South.
As per the article, Adner Exelus of Immokalee was driving a 2002 Toyota 4-Runner east in the left lane of West Main Street and was approaching Second Street South when Ambrocio darted across West Main Street heading north.
Ambrocio was hit by the vehicle and died in the incident.
Alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
As a result of the accident, the eastbound lanes of West Main Street were closed for an unknown period.
